ABOUT ME

MY STORY

Hi, nice to meet you!

I’m a proud native of Brenham, Texas, where the Blue Bell ice cream flows and my childhood was filled with imagination. My family often called me “El” or “Red,” thanks to my fiery red hair. I’ve always had a flair for the dramatic—though my mom might’ve had a different word for it! As an only child, I learned early on how to create my own adventures, whether it was hosting tea parties with my beanie babies or turning the backyard trampoline into a DIY water park with a garden hose.

Growing up as the plus-size kid among friends and family shaped my perspective, and I’ve made it a personal mission to advocate for plus-size representation in the performing arts.

I earned my BFA in Theatre with a focus on Musical Theatre from Hardin-Simmons University, and I’ve been working professionally—on and off—for over 20 years. I’m passionate about embracing every creative opportunity that comes my way and thrive when collaborating with fellow artists who share that same spark.
